I have been a member of Christ Holy Sanctified Church for approximately 30 years. I began my service under the leadership of Bishop James E. Williams, Sr. at Community Outreach, where I taught small children alongside Aunt/Sis. Bessie Richardson. After transitioning to Morning Star under the leadership of Pastor James E. Williams, Jr., I continued teaching—working with preteens and teenagers, which is my favorite age group. I also served as District Youth President during the pandemic. I am an aspiring minister and have had the honor of serving as the State Sunday School President for the past three years.
This year at our State Convocation, the Sunday School Department will be addressing key topics such as...
- how to build a successful Sunday School,
- strategies for engaging youth more effectively,
- examining whether we are truly prepared for what God has in store—and for the things we are praying for.
