Hebrews 13:17
Welcome to the Christ Holy Sanctified Church Pacific Seven Jurisdiction Holy Convocation 2026. It is truly wonderful to gather once again for a time of fellowship. The psalmist declared, “How good and pleasant it is for brethren to come together in unity.” We are especially excited to return to southern California for the first time since 2019. This year, we are convening in the City of Carson, a place recognized for its industrial history and located in the South Bay region of Los Angeles County. I want to express my gratitude to our host Superintendent and his wife, Superintendent Sam and Shay McCoy, for their diligent work in preparing for this Holy Convocation.
Convocation Theme: Transitioning Our Faith Into Action
Superintendent Sam McCoy was given the responsibility of selecting this year’s theme. The chosen theme for the convocation is “Transitioning Our Faith Into Action.” As James 2:17 reminds us, “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” There are many who profess to be Christians, yet their actions do not reflect their faith. As people of faith, we are called to produce good fruit. When we are renewed by the Holy Spirit, our lives will show it through our deeds.
Vision for the Pacific Seven Jurisdiction
My hope for all who are part of this Convocation is that you will receive valuable information to take back with you. As we engage in fellowship this week, let us keep in mind the vision for the Pacific Seven Jurisdiction, which is “Building Up One Another for Success.”
Acknowledgement of Leadership and Service
Please continue to pray for our Auxiliary Presidents and their appointed staff. They are doing exceptional work, and I am confident they will continue to excel. Special recognition goes to our H.Y.P.B.S President, Elder Sharonda Shaw-Brown; Sunday School President, Sister Telecia Currington; and Women’s President, Minister Teruko Williams. I expect nothing but greatness from these dedicated Women of God.
I extend heartfelt thanks to my Assistant Presider, Lisa Weatherford, for her wise counsel and ongoing support of the Pacific Seven Jurisdiction. We are all praying for you as you face the recent loss of your husband and son. May God, grant you continued strength, and know that you are deeply loved by us all.
I also wish to express my appreciation to my fellow co-laborers in Christ, including local Pastors, Elders, Ministers, and Deacons; Pacific Seven Jurisdiction Presidents and Vice
Presidents; Jurisdiction Staff; CFO Pastor Christella McKnight; and the Convocation Planning Committee led by Sister Trina Smith.
To my wife, First Lady Renee Logan, thank you for always keeping me on track!
Finally, to the Christ Holy Sanctified Church Presiding Prelate, Bishop Craig E. Brown, and his wife, International First Lady Debbie A. Brown, we are grateful for your unwavering support of the Pacific Seven Jurisdiction. May God continue to shine His light on you both.
In His Service,
Bishop Ricky E. Logan, Sr.
